Chinese Government Scholarship Program

Chinese Government Scholarship Program for all Bachelors, Masters & PhD has been announced for the all Pakistani Students by government of China. All interested candidates who are looking for an opportunity to study abroad now may submit their applications through the HEC Scholarships Portal. The deadline for submission of online applications is December 09, 2024.

Chinese Government Scholarship Program 2024 is excellent opportunity to study in China for a Bachelor, Master or PhD. Chinese Government Scholarship Program sponsors international students, teachers, and scholars to undertake degree studies (Undergraduate, Masters & PhD) including preparatory Chinese language studies for one year in some degree programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

• All interested Applications must be Pakistan or AJK Nationals (Please note that dual nationality holders are not eligible to Apply).
• Applicant must be in good health.
• Qualification & Age Limits:
• For Bachelors: Minimum Qualification is intermediate/A-level/FA-FSC 12 years of education from a recognized Board and age should be less than 25 at the time of application.
• For Masters: The minimum Qualification is Bachelors degree (16 years) from a recognized University and the age should be less than 35 at the time of application.
• For PhD / Doctoral Program: The minimum Qualification is MS / MPhil from a recognized University and the age should be less than 40 Years at the time of Application.
• All applicants are required to provide HAT or USAT score (HAT for masters/PhD and USAT for undergraduate). Applicants must have obtained a minimum score of 50 out of 100 in HAT or USAT test.​​Without providing a minimum HAT or USAT test score (50 out of 100), applications will not be considered for further processing. source: hec.gov.pk

Financial Coverage:

During the Internship Program, the Tuition Fee will be covered by the Host University, it may include Education, Administration, Health Insurance, and other expenditures to support student activities. Free University accommodation will be provided to each awardee. The monthly stipend will be paid as per the Chinese Government Scholarship Policy. Please note that the Travel Expenditures would be borne by the Scholarship winners themselves.

How to Apply for Chinese Government Scholarship Program?

• All interested applicants can submit their online Applications through HEC Scholarships Portal at http://scholarship.hec.gov.pk/, after registering and filling your profile, please select “Learning Opportunities Abroad”. 
• After submission of the application, get its printed copy to be signed by the applicant.
• HEC online application portal shall close on Monday, 09 December 2024 04.00 PM.
• Submit an online application at the CSC web portal at http://www.campuschina.org/ or https://www.csc.edu.cn/ through program Type: A and Agency No.5861.
• Download the submitted copy of the complete application form from the Chinese Scholarship Council portal, and print & retain a signed copy with yourself.
• Please Note That Submission of online applications at CSC & HEC portal are mandatory.
• In case of non-submission of form on any of the above two portals, candidature will not be considered.
• Hard Copies of the applications are not required at this stage.
• By-hand or incomplete/saved applications on portal will NOT be entertained.
